Key-holding/Alarm Response

We have a structure in place which is in accordance with BS7984 requirements which ultimately demonstrates a consistent systematic procedure reflecting the safe keeping together with the immediate availability of client keys and accountability upon receiving an Alarm Activation. Thus, to reduce time and arrive at client premises in the absolute minimum time required which is our primary objective and ensure safety and security is in place. Once site keys are obtained from the client (Key Receipt Form) they are digitally scanned and stored into our computer database. Individually placed in a key tag holding a unique serial number. Once the metal clip is pushed into the plastic tag it will not be released when locked.

This will ensure that no further keys can be added nor any keys can be withdrawn without breaking the key tag and therefore a new serial number must be allocated when a new key tag is issued. Generally, key tags are replaced when client’s change locks and new keys are issued. Once keys are secured they are placed in a security sealed pouch and allocated a locking clip holding a unique serial number which locks into the zip connector. Keys are now secure and the locking clip must be broken to obtain possession.

The security sealed pouch is then allocated a Lima Number (code) and placed into a Safety Vault at local offices whereupon access is not obtained prior to authorisation. Under no circumstances will any secure sealed pouch hold a ‘name’ or ‘address’ of any client as this is a clear breach of Company Policy. At MZ Security Services, our quality of service is further endorsed by ensuring a ‘Fast Alarm Response Time’. This can only be achieved by having the correct structure in place and information at hand via our 24 Hour Communications Control Centre allowing Mobile Security Officer’s to be despatched immediately upon receiving a call.

Security Officer’s will carry keys designated to them in a purpose built vehicle having fully equipped and supported with a digital camera for incident management together with satellite navigation and tracking systems in addition to holding a fitted security vault. On average a Mobile Security Officer will cover no more than a radius of 15 square miles, this is imperative as consequently we offer all client’s a maximum Alarm Response Time of 30 minutes. We are also currently in the process of launching a new system with significant investment made towards the IT infrastructure. Mobile Security Officer’s will be able to respond to calls in a fleet of GPS equipped vehicles with ‘live’ reporting enabled through adapted Blackberry technology, allowing our client’s to monitor our response in real time via an on-line tracker system. We deliver genuine transparency for our customer’s which is fundamental in today’s continuous change in Business and Commerce.
